CHANGE STARTS WITH YOU

WElcome to the 4th Annual MM&M Transforming Healthcare Conference

Going Beyond The Pill

True transformation requires sharing ideas, data, AND new technology
among biopharma, payers, providers and patients

The 2018 conference brings together an ecosystem of healthcare stakeholders fully committed to demonstrating real-world evidence, making the shift to value-based care, and accelerating innovation along the lifecycle.

Through intense exploration of key technologies, thought-provoking panels, and beyond-the-pill case studies, this one-day event encourages us to think outside the biopharma box. It’s the perfect environment to reexamine commercial strategy, learn from startups with intuitive customer interfaces, and explore the value-proposition of adjacent or complementary services. Join us in the reshaping of digital health strategy and the creation of a new business model that will bring us closer to an X-pill reality!

Bridging the Patient-Industry Data Divide

Vice President Joe Biden launched the "Cancer Moonshot" Initiative in 2016, a concerted effort to glean insights from vast troves of genetic data to inform oncology research and drug development at scale. Two years and a presidential administration later, indicators suggest the public is willing to share its genomic data, but progress toward creating a public cancergenomics database has been hampered by, among other things, the healthcare industry's reluctance and inability to easily share data. Can Moonshot serve as a catalyst to bridging the patient-industry data divide? Greg Simon, reports on data-sharing progress and remaining obstacles, and addresses what needs to happen for federal agencies and the private sector to work more closely together to transform cancer research and care.
